Worldwide Attendance Expected for Grain Trading Conference

26 February 2010

EGYPT - More than 150 representatives from grain businesses in 23 countries worldwide are expected to attend the International Grain Trading Conference in Egypt.

Taking place in Sharm el Sheikh from April 13th to 16th, the main aim of the event is to assist in effective dialogue between Black Sea exporters of wheat, maize, barley and other grains and importers from the Arabic region, the Russian Grain Federation and APK-Inform Agency reported.

It hopes to develop grain trading by solving issues with qualitative parameters and has become an important event for traders.

The news providers pointed out: "It is worthwhile to say that to date, the conference shows the highest index of presence of representatives of countries of the North Africa and the Middle East (both traders and grain processors of the countries)."

This year's conference is the fourth in Egypt and is set to be attended by delegates from countries including Algeria, Greece, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Russia and Tunisia.
