GB Animal Feed Statistical Notice - June 2013
Statistics on GB Animal Feed include data for the period April, May and June
with percentage changes for corresponding periods last year.
Key points:
- In June 2013 the total GB retail production of animal feed was up 6.7% compared with June 2012
- In June 2013 the total GB raw material usage in the retail production of animal feed was up 5.3% compared with June 2012
- In June 2013 the total GB integrated feed production was up 5.1% compared with June 2012
- For the period April to June 2013 quarterly average prices of animal feedingstuffs were the following:-
Cattle and calf feed - £253 per Tonne
Pig feed - £288 per Tonne
Poultry feed - £311 per Tonne
Sheep feed - £257 per Tonne
