Irish CSO Reports: Agricultural Price Indices - August 2013
Agricultural output price index down 2.9% in August 2013
The agricultural output price index decreased by 2.9% in August 2013 compared with July 2013. The agricultural input price index decreased by 1.1% over the same period. Thus, the resulting terms of trade index decreased by 1.8% in August 2013. See Tables 1, 2 and graph.
On an annual basis, the agricultural output price index in August 2013 was 7.1% higher than in August 2012. The agricultural input price index was up 2.2% in August 2013 compared with August 2012.
