Peanut Price Highlights
Peanut prices received by farmers for all farmer stock peanuts averaged 22.1 cents per pound for the week ending May 23, down 1.4 cents from the previous week. Marketings of all farmer stock peanuts for the week ending May 23 totaled 90.6 million pounds, down 23.9 million pounds from the previous week.
Runner-type peanut prices averaged 20.9 cents per pound for the week ending May 23, down 0.5 cent from the previous week. Marketings of runner-type peanuts were 75.0 million pounds, down 10.2 million pounds from the previous week.
