UK Cereals Usage by Millers Brewers & Maltsters - June 2012
While brewers, maltsters and distillers total wheat usage was up, oats and barley usage were down in June 2012.

In June 2012 compared with June 2011:
Wheat Usage:
- The total amount of wheat milled was 552 thousand tonnes, down 0%.
- The total amount of home grown wheat milled was 492 thousand tonnes, up 1%.
- The total amount of imported wheat milled was 60 thousand tonnes, down 11%.
- Brewers, maltsters and distillers total wheat usage was 58 thousand tonnes, up 19%.
Barley Usage:
- Brewers, maltsters and distillers total barley usage was 156 thousand tonnes, down 5%.

In April to June 2012 compared with April to June 2011:
