Corn conditions improve slightly as harvest picks up pace, according to the latest Crop Progress report.
USDA Crop Production Report

Corn harvest has picked up pace in the last week, with 26 per cent of the total crop in the 18 states being harvested. This is 15 per cent more than the five year average.

Corn maturity in the three I states is well ahead of the five year average, with 76 per cent of corn in all 19 states now mature.

Overall crop condition has improved slightly.

10 per cent of total soybeans in the 18 states have been harvested, with North Carolina being the only state not to have begun harvest yet.

Soybean condition remains relatively unchanged, whilst soybeans dropping leaves is at 57 per cent, 20 per cent higher than the five year average.
